Fix the join between two good clips
Open the browser cut editor for an existing film and preview the overlap between neighboring clips. A small timing change can make a cut less abrupt, while too much overlap can make moving subjects appear doubled. Watch the actual blend and adjust the overlap until the action reads clearly. The editor reuses your saved clips.
Replace a scene when its action is wrong
Transition edits cannot change a character’s eye line, identity or gesture inside a clip. For that, edit the selected shot’s direction and approve a replacement quote. Keep the instruction concrete: which character moves, what they look at, when they react and which references should apply. Preview the replacement before choosing to use it.
Check audio and branding at the boundaries
Listen across every join as well as watching it. An abrupt music or ambience change can make an otherwise smooth visual cut feel disconnected. Review any narration and captions around the edit, then check the transition into an approved brand ending. An overlap adjustment is not a general-purpose audio mixing or caption redesign tool.
Export a revised film without restarting the story
After adjusting the cuts, export a new MP4 from the existing clips. If assembly fails, use the available recovery flow before requesting new generation. Existing completed assets can be reused. The browser editor is for videos made in this workspace; it is not a promise of unrestricted editing for arbitrary uploaded video files.

Questions before you start
Does changing overlap generate new video?
No. The cut editor previews and renders the saved clips with your updated overlap. New scene content requires a separately quoted shot replacement.
Can I replace one shot out of six?
Yes, when shot replacement is available for that film. The selected shot receives its own generation quote, and you can preview the result before using it.
Can I upload any video and use a full editing suite?
The current editor focuses on generated films in your workspace and their transition overlaps. It is not a full general-purpose video editor.
